Look what the Easter bunny brought us!

Hello wonderful world of xanga. We temporarily lost our minds earlier this week and decided to add to the chaos of our home and get a 10 week old golden retriever puppy. Luckily the chaos is worth it because he is the most gentle loving wonderful puppy ever! We are excited because he was specially bred to only be about 35-40 lbs and our  good friends the Swansons got his brother so they will get to grow up together. Good times, no? I will leave you with these pics to ooh and ahh over how cute our dog is. :) Oh and we named him Buckaroo- Roo for short. (Thanks Brian Reegan for the great dog name idea!)

Winter fun for the Babics

Hello all! All is well in the land of the Babics. What is new you may be wondering? Well too much for me to blog here but here are some highlights...

Noah was potty trained for one day until he had an accident and decided that he hates the potty. Sigh, we are patiently waiting for him to get over the trauma to try again.

Libby has officially grown out of about half of all her 12 month clothes. I can't believe she is growing up so fast!

Yesterday Noah sat down at the computer and played his Sesame Street game with almost no help from Mommy or Daddy. It is so cute to watch him use the mouse. :)

This coming Friday Ben has a special surprise planned for my b-day- I can't wait!

And since I can't post without including some pics, here they are---

I am surprised this cat is still alive.

Noah's attempt at smiling for the camera

Look at those baby blues!

Getting ready for snow time with the Wallers- fun, fun, fun!

Sometimes Libby doesn't know what to think about the snow.

The Mama Monster

Eating snow is much more fun than getting hit with it by Daddy

Our snow tango

Look at those earrings- I love 'em!

And we're back to attempting to kill the cat.

Happy Valentine's day everyone! It is by far the best holiday ever.

CHRISTMAS PHOTOS!!

In lieu of the family photo this year (I am still getting over last year :) we took the kids to go and get their pics taken for Christmas. Surprisingly, Noah was a doll while Libby was quite cranky, which if you know them is quite out of character. If you look closely in these, you can see Libby Jean's cute little earrings. She never grabs at themexcept when she gets hhs her pictures taken. :) I will have to post a close up of them soon since we just got our camera back!  We are off to GA tomorrow for a full week with Ben's side of the family. It will be a week filled of fun family activities and good food- who could ask for anything more? Merry Christmas everyone and enjoy these pictures of the world's cutest Christmas kids!!!

The obligatory Santa photo. Hey, at least they aren't crying... :)

Happy December!!!

December 1st has been a monumental day for the Babics household!

1) I finally, after 6 long months of complaining about it and wishing that I wasn't such a procrastinator, took my broken camera to the post office and mailed it back to get fixed. This may not sound like a big accomplishment to you, but imagine no pictures for 6 months. Many Kodak moments have been lost and I can't wait to get it back!

2) Benjamin will be going to his very 1st hockey game tonight. Now, normally he is not the biggest fan of hockey (actually he knows nothing about it but that there may be a fight), but he loves U of M and his co-workers are kidnapping him so he has to go. He has instilled this love in his son as well- see the iPhone pic below.

3) Ben gave me my Christmas present! It is officially the best Christmas present ever, because it is something he did out of love for me that he really didn't want to do. At all. HE LET ME GET LIBBY'S EARS PIERCED TODAY!! :) :) :) Words cannot express how excited I am about this. And she was the world's best little girl. She sat perfectly still for like 4 minutes while they put the dots on her ears and did the deed. She cried for about 10 seconds and then it was over. Actually, she has been more smiley after getting her ears pierced then she was before. I think she knows now that she is the world's most beautiful little girl, inside and out. Thank you sweet pea. Ben won't admit it, but he loves her earrings and is shocked at how well she has behaved. I would post pictures, but see #1. We took pics with a disposable camera that I will have to get developed one of these days. (Chris, I apologize but you will change your mind when you see your cute little niece :)

Enjoy your Christmas season! The Babics are thinking of you fondly!!!

Halloween '07

Here we are getting ready. (Notice how Libby looks so cute but is really trying to push down her older bigger brother...)

Libby went as a giraffe. From the side, the costume actually kind of looks like one.

Here we are as a family. I couldn't get  the red eye remover to work but I figured it would just make us all look more Halloween-ish.

As soon as we were done trick or treating, Noah wanted to examine every piece of candy he got. He did not want to do it in his monkey costume. This is him pleading with me "Off!!!!!"

Libby also enjoyed her loot although she more wanted to play with the candy than eat it. This made Grandma Lisa very happy.

Here is one last shot of Noah the monkey looking uber cute.  I still can't get him to smile for the camera.
